Started development with React over 9 years ago and have been in some sort of web development for 28 years. Primarily a frontend dev with some fullstack development in the NodeJS tech stack.

Familiarized with client side and isomorphic rendering primarily using different types of build frameworks such as NextJS, Gatsby and Create React App.

Styling is typically created using a "Block Element Modifier" code standard with SASS (Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets) to complile to CSS which simplifies much of the styling for the site and reduces style conflicts.

Up to date with the current web development technologies and techniques.

Experience in building a11y (accessibility) compliant sites.

Experience in building i18n (internationalize aka localized) compliant sites.

Development with unit and integration testing to produce a more stable, bug free site.

Rally

Dec 2019 – Aug 2020

6 month contract (extended to 7) rebuilding a reporting system from older technologies into an updated ReactJS SPA using HighchartsJS that clients of Rally, a division of Broadcom, use to chart thier work. The Rally software tracks and builds analytics such as burnups, burndowns, etc. to visualize progress on their Agile projects.

Southwest Airlines

Dec 2014 - June 2016

Southwest was my first experience with React. I was fortunate to be able to work with some brilliant developers which upped my skillsets to a much higher level as a UI developer. I was on a lead team where most of the projects started such as the main components and the Flight Status portion of the site, but the primary part of my time there was spent on the Booking section of the site.

PipelineRx

Jan 2018 - May 2019

I came on at PipelineRx to help them re-architect their web application into a SPA (single page app) using React, HAL JSON and Redux. My key role was to lead and collaborate with a couple of teams developers and a UX designer to come up with the best solutions to build an efficient, fast, reliable and HIPAA compliant front end web application.
